huggles...my daughter had just passed her test & on a back road, swerved to avoid a rabbit, & drove into a telegraph pole...she was very lucky, but the car was a write-off.

I shook for ages, especially when I saw the car!

I suggest that you get Ollie to talk about it as much as he is able, it really does help to get it out their system.

At the end of the day, he is fine, & he will eventually accept this - as will you.

It wasn't his fault, & he will come to accept this - unfortunately, these things happen.

Have a stiff drink, & try to not think of what ' might have been ' :-x

Olly hasn't stopped going over it. He's gone to walk the neighbours dog, a good walk on the beach will do him good. Then dinner, bath, bed I think.

its good  to talk it out

when my daughter's bf at the time had an accident - a woman towing a caravan hit his car  he had some shoulder pain for a while, 

i chatted online to  him for a weeks afterwards,  he kept saying that  he knew she would hit him and there was nothing he could do to prevent it.  he kept 'seeing'  it  happen too, 

makes sure  you tell school what's happened too, officially i mean, just so they know

Yes the test plus he had a date last Friday and she called it off when he had already bought his ticket to Chichester!

Poor Ollie, but maybe better that he has a bump now with his instructor who can reassure him that he is not at fault than a week after passing his test when the insurance would crucify him ,.................IYKWIM.

At the end of the day no-one hurt thank goodness.................

Good morning. Taking mum to the hospital today to have treatment on her leg thing.appointment at ten for some cream then a three hour wait until they do something with a lazar. A bit inconvenient as the hospital is about ten miles away on a congested road so I don't know if we/I will come back inbetween.

Morning all.

Hope all goes well at the hossie for Mum huggles,have they got a litttle cafe where you can go for a cuppa.

Very white and frosty here and spent most of the morning on to T**co's as they have managed to cancel the e-vouchers I tried to use last night to order dvd's.
