Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Morning. Can't lift my left arm today after my jabs. Never had one hurt so much as this. She did put two in the same place though. Lazy day for me I think.:-)

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Evening. Saw a nasty accident on the way home tonight and it has left me feeling down. people don't come off well against cars. I didn't stop because I was going the other way and other people were there but I feel bad about that. I couldn't have done anything as the person was unconscious. Lots of people were calling the services. Must have happened level to the car about four or five in front of me. Not a good evening for lots of people including the driver.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

'allo :^O

Back & shattered! Gone 2 days & hubby got a text from my daughter, the night we flew out my mum was rushed to hospital with renal & heart failure & my daughter was told that my mum wouldn't survive the night. Well 4 days later she was moved from intensive care to high dependency & the girls debated whether to contact me & tell me as they knew we couldn't get back (flights to UK only 1 day a week). So my youngest (who works at the hospital) texted my husband & left it to him to decide whether to tell me or not (he had to, 'cos he couldn't have kept that secret) & we were kept up to date by text 3 times a day.

Mums now on an ordinary ward & we are working with the local council & occupational therapists to get a permanant care package organised for her to come home later this week!

As well as contending with that my youngest has had the builders in ripping her place to bits & has been camping out at our house, she's been brilliant.

My eldest was quite upset as she travelled all the way from Kent to see her nan, who didn't recognise her & was hallucinating. It turns out that the really heavy duty drugs etc have that effect.

So 2 days back & I'm shattered already.

Seems everyones mums having problems at the moment
