our f/f  broke while i was away at xmas/ny  maggie,   at least there wasnt more than 20 £'s worth of food wasted


this one seems a bit smaller so  tg theres only the two of us

Mine is here & in place. Seems a bit plasticy but there you go. It has to settle for four hours before switching on. The freezer bit is smaller but that's fine as I have the ancient one in the shed for Xmas emergencies.:-)

i cant say i am particularly brave


but i do think we anticipate things to be worse than they actually are most of the time (i do this with the dentist, a lot!)

Here I am and yes, I can do it!!!  Years ago when I had some stitches removed, the nurse left me the thingy she'd used for removing them.  Said it would be handy for sewing etc.,  So...I'm game if you are and I've got some rubber gloves too 😄

Calm down merc, you don't have to let kitten do it.  My hubby's much more experienced than she is, after all, he did take his vasectomy stitches out with a razor blade.  He was sitting in a bath with soot floating on the top of the water at the time as he'd just taken a chimney down off the roof.:|
