Nobody hurt. Three cars squished together & the car that squished them spun & is across the road, blocking it. Lots of blue lights & police taking photos.

The centre squishee belongs to the daughter of my neighbour. Such a shame as her car will be a write off.:-( Little old car so not worth much but so special to her.

The driver is still there talking to the police. They are waiting to get the car towed off the road I assume. The driver was on his own as far as I can see & is middle aged.

That's not a good start to the week for the owners of the park cars.  Glad no one was hurt though.

I do like beetroot, I just mustn't have eaten big enough quantities of it  :^O

The beetroot was lovely so I did eat lots! Boil it, let it go cold, rub off the skin, then glaze it by frying in butter. I topped it with brown sugar and sea salt like the stuff you get on seaweed from the Chinese.

ps. years ago my ma tried to feed me chips (done in the chip-pan then) when i quieried one of them, she hit me in the back, and said dont be so fussy.

was a perfectly, golden brown crispy...... daddy-long legs.

yeah right, we werent that poor.

It's been raining ever since 3am and I mean raining....

after struggling to get up because I though it was Tuesday and I'm having a visitor, and then seeing this rainy day....and being so hungry I've eaten my cereal and must have a piece of toast.....

I wish I'd stayed in bed:-(

Morning all.

Tis persisting down here and as CB says has been all night,the little stream that normally runs at the end of the garden is a raging river at the moment and we are just keeping fingers crossed that it eases soon 😮

Miss S went off for her first day of Uni this morning grinning like a cheshire cat so think she may of been looking forward to it just a little bit :^O

My lappy died last night so the engineers are supposed to be fixing it as we speak (looks more like they're drinking tea to me X-() so if I am absent outside of office hours you know why:-(

Well I postponed meeting Jackie for lunch in Yeovil because of the forecast & now the sun is shining! Still blowing a gale though.

I have btw hidden me malted milk moo bickies or I'll never get to eat one of them, OH is a biscuit addict. I have been known to hide them and forget where I put them until weeks later when we find them in the tea towel basket....well men never dry the dishes do they:^O

What was worse is that I had stuff for sale finishing last night and couldn't answer questions or see who bought stuff and what it made till I got to work as Miss S had taken hers out with her 😐

Please gawd remember where you've hidden the biccys or you'll be living with a family of micicles in yer new bungalow when they discover them :^O
