If you had a friend who was going to attempt to line a laundry basket as their first go at using a sewing machine beyond school Tudor costumes....what would you advise?

'she' is going to buy some fabric tomorrow. The laundry basket is big and rectangular. 'she thinks' cut a bottom rectangle then sew the sides round in one piece. Then do a seam at the top to put some elastic in. She's not clever, so it needs to be simple. 😐

PCC is your girl. She has just done one.:-)

Your way sounds fine but I would add the four side panels seperately & sew up the seams.:-)

The ends got sewn in but then it got sewn up wrong and has been in the knitting bag since. 😞 I'll take it away with me next week. Looking forward to a bit of wool shopping now all the old stuff is hidden!

Cornwall's lovely isn't it, I think it's just about my favourite county.  All those little winding hilly streets.  You had good weather too.
