Last night my boys were chatting to me along the lines of 'you're not reading that book'! They went a bit green when I told them I had all 3 and sex is how they are here. ]:) Got rid of them totally for the evening by moving on to breast feeding. ]:)

Losing your job in 2013 is a stressful enough prospect with all it entails ... but a job that you love. :-x

Hope your cat stays as stable as is possible, I know that's a very real concern for you ...

and having your freezer pack up, really is something you didn't need happening now either 😞

It adds insult to injury.

Please let that be your 'things come in threes' over and done with, and I'm truly sorry that all of this has landed on your plate ...

you don't deserve such negativity ...

You've brought so much fun and laughter to us all with your great sense of humour ...

kitten im so sorry that you are losing your job, god its hard out there, our young fella has been looking from he left school this year, hes got all his qualifications, and zilch, nada that he can even apply for. he would take anything, and i mean anything.

my freezer fridge packed up to a while ago, i went into currys, spotted one on clearance, the guy said it had a few dings in it, like i care, it would have a few more in a day in our house, got it less than half price. (and i have a tip on getting dents out of paintwork)

anyone seen or heard from numpz yet? i hope shes okay:-x

and who won the speshul hat, was it on MDCC?

seen captain has painted with one of those paint pad thingies, and might do my living room wall today if i can find out what brand she used.

Morning. Lovely sunny dy here.:-) Lots of sewing jobs to do today & auctions finishing. Very poor bids but it's better than nothing.

sunny and a good wind out there today

stripped the bed, and used LOTS of pegs!

done a wee bit more on the quilt but repiecing it is proving a challenege

lining a pair of curtains 😐 (i hope)

and, i have devised in my head only so far, a small hanging storage solution

i recently moved one of the dressers out the kitchen

everything in it moved to a new location

but i miss my measuring cups and spoons

so i have bought material, made patterns, and cant wait for it to come to see if this works

i am hoping it will hang discreetly on the side of another dresser

Aww 3CB thank you :-x  No use me being miserable, so many folk losing their jobs.  I've been there 14yrs so it won't be easy going.  My friend used to say that as one door closes another one slams in your face :_|  I could always take up "crafting" :^O

Well done on having a go at the curtains Merlin , i used to earn a living doing soft furnishings  but wouldnt make them now :^O

What i have made this week is a very strong fabric covered box .

It  is designed to be a memory box but ive done it in cotton first to try it out 🙂

Merlin - well with my crafting I'd never make the same thing twice as I make it up as I go along.  Not that you would know by looking at the speshul crafts :^O

It's going to be hard on the oldies who don't know what is going to happen (sheltered housing).  It's due to all the cuts in funding.
