Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

😞  Was it a heart attack?  Squash is a dangerous game.  A friend of ours USED to play but he's snapped both his Achilees tendons in the past few years  (I think that's what hippyfairy did)  He's in his 60s.  He's not allowed to play any more.  Still, better than a heart attack I suppose.:-(

I'm sure you'll think of some way to comfort your hubby huggles.;-)

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

I'd rather have a Micra. Next door's Mclaren thing is really getting on my nerves now. X-( Is Stan on Facebook? I shared a photo of it (including neighbour who is single if anyone is interested) but I don't know if it is the one Stan thought it might be. Can I pinch a photo from fb & put it on here?

Morning Numpts! Is Merlin having a lie-in again? She's getting sloppy!

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Ooooooo Huggles, does it really need doing?:|

Wouldn't you be better sorting out your wool in readiness for MDCC, after all, you must prioritiseB-)

And just think how dry all that cleaning detergent rubbish will make your hands, it will snag your knitting and that would never do;\

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

It was a naughty tuna salad. Recipe from a Neal's Yard book tweaked a bit with long stem broccoli mixed with crushed up avocado when it's warm & then chilled & I put chopped chilli in his tuna. He doesn't really 'do' lettuce.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

i have a feeling i am not in Kansas anymore

the shed has a workbench, right along the windows, bout 8ft long

i keep it clear, aprt from a cushion at one end in the corner  for the cat

if she has a cushion she sits still, if not she "helps" you while you work

now it has a car battery, a set of wheel trims and 4 unidentified bits of metal, one quite big on it:|

wheel trims i understand as he changed the wheels over at the weekend

but i cant help think if they put these bits on cars, they NEED them on

shed = my stuff

garage = car stuff

X-(

OH walked in the door saturday with "something" in his hand

i just looked 😐 at him

he said he was going to put it in the dishwasher

i just asked him if he was new here and walked away

imagine:|
