When I have problems like that I always rethread top & bottom & it usually solves the problem.:-)

I was getting loads of circles of threads underneath my sewing once, I took it to the repair guy and he said I hadn't threaded the needle and I hadn't!!!!:8}
boy did I ever feel a twit....
How is everyone this morning, feeling good?

Can you carefullu unpick a tiny seam & slip it out? Then ladder stitch it back together by hand.

Simple remedy merlin. Use the quilt on your bed instead of the sofa,. Leave the pin in situ but open it. Put the pin through your nose. Not only will it add to the beauty of your other peircings, it will stop the quilt from sliding off the bed in the night. 😄

just one teeny weeny aspect you have overlooked chickengrandma
open pins and waterbeds are not a good mix:^O
i managed to unpick a tiny wee bit and get it out
i asked what he was doing in there
but he wasnt saying much:-(
made the binding, i apparently think i am binding the equator, as thats how much i made!

Finish quilting before you bind it though Merlin.:-D

i have done some
but......... well, its all squares, very simple
i quited parts more to hold it all together rather than pattern, does that make sense?
i went with the squares
all the squares in the middle are patterned, and it has a border of squares, but self coloured, i did each of the squares on the border
will that be enough?
i didnt do every single square in the middle

I would say the max measurement between quilting lines should be no more than 9". A bit less if possible. 🙂
14-03-2012 4:35 PM
i dont have any more than that, i would say the biggest would be about 6"
what would happen if there was a bigger space? please:-D
14-03-2012 4:35 PM
Bin to Asssda:|
Getting grief off H now, her brother got hold of her on FB and made his feelings very clear about her leaving home. Now she's mad at me:-(
14-03-2012 4:36 PM
the biggest IS 6"
brain left me there for a moment
i used 4" squares and did every 2nd one, so it must be 6
14-03-2012 4:39 PM
whats she mad at you for?:|
he is your son, why wouldnt you talk to him?
could he have told her a few home truths and she doesnt like it and striking out at you:-(
14-03-2012 4:40 PM
If the quilting is more than 9" apart some waddings can 'break up' or move inside the quilt & cause lumps. Think of feathers in a duvet.:-) Your distance between stitching sounds perfect.:-D
14-03-2012 4:42 PM
aaah i see
thank you
you should have seen me doing the middle bit
you would have :_|
