I can't remember what they were now.:| How do you know what colour number a reel of thread is, as once you've poked the spindle through it, the ticket with the number tears off. They ought to print it round the edge!:|
Yes that can be a problem .
What i do is poke a hole in the top before putting it on the spindle that way the number can still be seen ...

I think, when I understand the controls a bit, it might tell me the number to use and say 'light brown'. I haven't got that far yet.:^O
It's not as if I've done it by hand, but I'm quite pleased with myself for actually being able to understand and follow the instructions.
It's surprising how different it is to thread and wind the bobbin to any machine I've had before.
