Ok so if I have a 3 foot wide door I should by 6ft wide material and whatever length to fit door or gap in door.
I get the idea with the missing glass door. Only there is no recess, the glass was sandwiched between the two sides of the door so I have a groove inside the door where the glass should be. So I would have to stick the hooks on the actual door just above and below the hole.
On the porch door I have a 1/2 foot overhang but on the wrong side :_| but saying that we only use the front door for people who don't know us as we are a back door household. So I can manage to with it not being too moveable. Keeping warm is my priority.
I shall go to the market in the morning and get my material and come back for more help that I just know I'm gonna need with the sewing mahine. Its scaring me just looking at it :^O

But to explain... My front front door is like a huge saloon door and splits right down the middle to open. It has huge bolts on the inside to fasten shut. No yale key so I can't leave the house via the front and have the house securely locked as I can only shut the inner front door with its single paned windows x 16. Not very secure.
Hence the reason we have become are you ready numpts a "backdoor household". Oh gawd your rooood thoughts have pickled my mind. Naughty you.
