Ribbon or binding sew over the top bot sides at the top will be covered, or you could use eyelets in the corners and thread them as you say, just tuck the tops in and sew over before using the eyelets 🙂

wellllllllllllll id you were going to do them on a red & white theme, i have some lovely red bias binding with white polka dots on it:-D

i am sure i could find some red & white bits too

We're making bunting on another group and then we send it to the next person on the list, that's what gave me the idea, but we haven't actually started yet.  Each triangle is 8" across and 9" down.  I've got some plain red actually and could easily get some white.  I never thought about binding it over the top, I just assumed it went at the back. It would look pretty with polka dots wouldn't it.:-D

8 flags X 8" = 64"  Sssshhhh genius at work here.

64" = 5' 4"  =1yd and 28"

3yds - 1yd 28" = 1yd 8" =44"  =22" each side.

Phew!  Did you see those sparks flying!:^O

3yds will be fine.:^O

Beads would look pretty gina but knowing her she's break them all over the room.  She's not 'destructive' just very impetuous and rushes into things without thinking them through!:-(

i found some red & white gingham

some red & white checked sorta pattern (small pattern)

and this doesnt sound nice but it is, well i think it is:^O

its white, with 1cm red stripes

its has white outlined blue stars on it, with glitter flecks!

i put them all together and they do all go together if you want them?
