Thats exactly what i think, I always said to the kids, once you get to 21 your 40 before you know it, they used to laugh, ... now they understand what i meant 🙂

Quite a busy but nice day. Spashing about this morning & a bit of seed sowing & fabric sewing this afternoon. Just watched a film. A bit odd but ok.

I've only made merlingoo today, and the usual everyday household jobs.

Son bought me this today but I doubt very much that I'll do it.;\

You even get a cardboard balcony!:_|

I think that pattern is quite clever. I wouldn't have the patience to knit it though.

No, I don't think I have either, plus to buy all the different colours of wool will cost a fortune!:O

Thanks CK but I haven't done much knitting for years so have hardly any stock at all. I'll have to have a good dig in the big drawers under the bed in the spare room.:-D  As son said, I don't have to use the same colours as on the pattern for some of the dresses etc., but I would for the uniforms.  I wish he hadn't bought it.:-(

I keep seeing references to that Royal Family book - its the sort of thing my Grandma would have loved a few years ago when she could knit quicker and for longer.

For Charles & Diana's wedding she did the window of her Wool Shop in red/white/blue. My Sindy was Diana complete with a knitted wedding dress and my Uncles Action Man got the role of Charles with a knitted military suit.  Another of those occasions when you wished people had taken photos - it looked wonderful.

Our sun has gone again!  That's the last three days it's been beautiful and sunny until about 10.30 and then it clouds over for the rest of the day!X-(
