I've just made a full batch (22 litres!:O) of merlingoo. I've found the secret that merlin failed to tell us and I've written it on the recipe in big bold letters.
"ADD THE BORAX BEFORE THE SODA"
Adding the soda first is what makes it fizz up and spill all over your kitchen. (I bet merlin knows that and cackles laughs to herself everytime she thinks of us making it!X-(
So who's got our sun today then??? It was nice until about 10am and it's been cloudy since.:-( It's very mild though.
Son passed the first written flying exam yesterday so as soon as some medical records get to the powers that be he'll be able to fly by himself with the instructor talking to him by radio on the ground!:O Many more big exams before he get's his license though.

Oh, I just wondered if your hubby was like mine and gets it onto rollers and levers it along with a scaffold pole! He can move/lift anything by Heath Robinson means! I'm just trying to think why he had a block and tackle over a big tree branch recently.
He dug a 30 foot well a few years ago and had scaffold polls and a pulley at the top and kept lowering himself down, filling a bucket with soil from the bottom and pulling himself up again!:^O
