last time i bought a red cabbage to pickle it, i ate it raw and it never got pickled at all

All pressies wrapped, all crackers and cracker gift bags done, meat is thawing.

We got a suprise today, we always get dad latest dvd of last of the summer wine, it was on order and they said it didnt come out until 29th december, est delivery 4-9th Jan, it's here its arrived, but dad wont get it now till next week as we took all gifts over yesterday, he will be happy 🙂

the girls have gone into town

wanted to experience christmas eve although they had no shopping they had to get

lots of giggles & ssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhh though

so who knows what they are up to

and bradley gave me his christmas eve present

Finished the wrapping & now my back aches! Not making mince pies now, they will have to wait! Good job they aren't coming until Monday! lol

Am as done as I'll ever be - gammon cooked and smells wonderful after its honey bath & roast! All pressies delivered, house is tidy(ish).

Looking forward to going out and singing carols to the band later with friends.

Trashy tv and then hopefully the boys will doze off by 11 so 'santa' can deliver - failing that he might just deliver stockings to our bedroom instead!!

My little brother has just been round with pressies for the boys - lovely to see him as it over 2 months since he was last here.

I do actually feel festive now - got that excited feeling in my tummy 🙂

The Christmas feeling has hit the Chez household..

just got back from Christingle, Hubby and Son are off delivering presents.

I've got the tree lights on and the candles lit..

Happy Christmas Everyone.. but especially my neighbour who had her baby boy.. Luke.. this morning..xxx

Made & iced 3 dozen cupcakes, 4 doz mince pies, cooked 2 turkey crowns, prepared 36 bacon rolls & all the veg & had a major clear up ( Hubby seems to have done nothing but wash-up after me), just bought all the pressies down & now can't wait until they all arrive tomorrow. First lot at 11.00 (hopefully remembering to pick my mum up on the way), & the second lot at about 1.00. Have managed to find a seating system so that we can all eat together, just hope it works!

Braved the icy lane and made it safely to the shops this morning, had a gorgeous bouquet bought for me too 🙂

had a busy day, castlepiont wasnt that busy , got nearly everything, turkey crown defrosting, veg all done , off to wrap presents, then to bed tired & aching,  hope everyone has a lovely christmas day, :-x

I will open my gifts from my dear friends in the morning.:-) Family ones on Tuesday which will be Christmas Day here.:-D

I am planning a day of indulgence. Smoked salmon for lunch & roast duck for dinner with all the trimmings. The Bailys will get opened & Dr Who will get watched. I will also take Damson to the beach as that is a 'must do' on Christmas Day.:-D I will pop on here during the day to see if anyone is about.:-)
