Grandson has gone home now, so oh is putting my shelf up then i can stick some candles on it 🙂

Thats all i bought it for ... candles 😄

Oh sloe gin - I love the stuff.

We're still on a huge batch I made last winter 🙂

Didn't see the eclipse this morning - was far to cloudy here 😞 Seen some pics though and it looked amazing.

Time to shut out the darkness soon and light candles & switch on tree lights.

My pretties are on. I have greenery all the way down the stairs with twinkly white lights on. It looks lovely.:-)

Thank you we got it very cheap while we were on hols in wales early this year.

Tis very dark here outside, our room is north facing so we dont get much light in here, hence the mirror is placed so it can throw in a bit extra.

we had ours taken out when we went over to gas

we bought one of those electric wall mounted things, they do look nice it, was as big as my mirror, but i didn't like the amount that it stuck out, so got rid,

i do miss my surround tho.

I'm child free.:-D  Chocolate brownie making this morning and peg fairies this afternoon.  As one pair left, the next pair passed them in the doorway, so not even a five minute break from 9am to 5pm!!  The only catastrophe was a full mug of tea knocked over on the table, which went all over the craft stuff, the two week bumper issue of TV Times, the remote control, the telephone, the clean tablecloth I just put on yesterday and the felt table protector which now has a 2ft by 3ft brown stain on it!:_|
