Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD

We put our tree in a pot for the winter as it was such a weak looking little thing. All it's leaves have fallen off now, I don't know if it's just because it's autumn or if it's dead!

The bag is in a drawer with all the other things that 'might come in handy one day':-D

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD

I expect it will be ok merlin. Hubby likes getting dead looking plants and nurturing them back to health, even when we don't want them!:^O  He goes to the local greengrocer's every day to get their spoilt fruit and veg for the chickens and there's often various plants in pots that have 'died'. He plants them all up with his special 'chicken manure' and they usually spring back to life.:-D

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD

Don't panic if you get an email saying that the sewing group has closed. I have just deleted the old group to see if the new one will run better without it. At the moment it won't recognise me as group leader so I cant let people join.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD

We have one up & running. That is still there. I deleted the one from before the changes. Ebay kept it as read only which we don't need now we have the new one. The new one is not recognising me as group leader so I can't send invites or allow people to join as it says I am not group leader. I was thinking that might be because the old group was still lurking in the background!

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD

The new group is still there.:-) I have been getting 'requests to join' from people & when I click on 'accept new member' it says I need to be the group manager to let people join. It just doesn't recognise me as the group leader. Thee is another group leader having the same problems. She has been posting on the New Community thread.

I can always make the group public for a short time to let people in but this is a pain!

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD

Yes I have. It only lets them in if the group is set to public. I have made me, under a different id, co manager to see if that works. I need someone to request to join now to see if that works.:-)
