One of my sisters was into cabbage patch dolls - her favourite was called Ollie - she named her little boy after it 20 years later - so glad she preferred that one to Harold ;)!!

Oh - forgot to say - love the dolls and hope to make one myself when I get my BP needle.
Have made a small patchwork mat to stand my machine on.
Didn't have all the right equipment when I started out, and was just learning to use my machine, but I have had to do all the steps of a big quilt, just on a smaller scale.
I've made a few mistakesw, but have learnt a lot.

The hearts are nice. Could you do double thickness sewn around the edges with a running stitch but with no stuffing Maisie? It would hang nicely then.:-)
