Evening all, just popping to wish Maggie a happy hol Woman Happy

Your mosaic is good Von, and you'll get better with practice, I had a wee go at it once, like all the bonny colours.

Ok Dairy - where do I place the order for my bag - no chocklit fabric - don't really like chocklit Woman Surprised

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

She goes to the local kennels. She is a regular there & always has a waggy tail when I take her. They have a big secure field they let her run around in so she is happy there. It is the longest I have ever left her though.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

That's lovely Von.  I finished a baby cardigan last night.  I've only got to press it and put buttons.  Steph didn't want us to knit anything when she was expecting Grace but we have been given permission to knit for this one.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

That's good capt, you'll be able to harvest and plant some more seeds in the autumn 'cos not many of them came through did they?

When I used to do the gardening I used to tie them all up, but our gardener now just leaves them.  They climb up all the other shrubs and so spread right along the flowerbed.  They look quite nice peeping out amongst the evergreens, add a little colour to them.  Woman Happy

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

as they weren't growing I put the little ones in a pot and they have grown to 3ft. The ones in the border haven't faired as well, there are only two plants! but they are growing longer so I think I'll do that with them too.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Morning all.  They came to start the garage at 7am.  They were only supposed to be here at 7.30.  As luck would have it, I only had to put something on my feet as I was washed and nearly dressed apart from feet.  I had to move the car and they said I'd have to move it further back.  This would have annoyed the obnoxious little person who lives in the bungalow joined on to ours so I have had to drive around the block and park it on another neighbours front.  She'll moan about the car being there.  I'm not much in the mood for playing at the moment.  They are already banging away like mad which will upset the neighbours.  At least they should finish early - hopefully.

Rant over.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

just think tho, it'll all be worth it in the end - you'll be able to keep your car in it and save all the moving of the car up and down the drive in the winter to avoid the frost.

it'll be nice and protected in the new garage.

Morning all, too late to wish Maggie a happy holiday, but just in case HAPPY HOLIDAY.

Been in the garden again, too hot now so have come in to do house work, yuk.

Love all the makes, I have been busy evenings, but I can't show you as it is for MDCC and summer swap.

Love the bag Dairy,  (one in purple fabric would be nice

Well done with the Mosaic PCC

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Morning all, for me anyway.  Sorry Chris, didn't ignore you last night, I posted, shut lappy and went to bed and zonked.  Wasn't feeling great.

Second mosaic is lovely too Von, but I prefer the first one because I know all the work that went into it.  Just when you think you've cut the tile or glass to the right size, you snip off a wrong bit and have to start again **scream**.

We have had maybe 2/3 whole days of all this brilliant sunshine you guys are getting - pouts lip - still makes working in the garden easier.

Well done on the new garage Chris, I'd have to leave home and stay with someone else if our garage had to be emptied and replaced, it's awful.  OH would keep everything.  I sneak things out now and then and put them in the skip down the road.  Have a good day all xx.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

At least the garage is done now.  It only took about four hours which wasn't bad.  I met my dad at lunchtime and when I got back, my mum decided that she wanted things back in the garage.  At least she didn't lift anything that was too heavy.  The car will fit into the new garage a treat.  Our neighbour who is an electrician is going sort the electrics out and put some lights in for us which is kind of him.

Carol, I did realise that you may not feel up to responding so it's not a hanging offence yet that you didn't reply to my post sooner.  You are most certainly forgiven.

I hope that Maggie got off alright and that she enjoys her hols.
