my mum died 12 years ago today. Where on earth has that time gone?

Sorry CG. Time does seem to go quicker the older you get, your mum looks very happy in that picture.

That is lovely Stan.

That's a lovely verse Stan. One of Grace's grandads died in February last year so what her dad does when the weather is fit is take her outside at night and she looks at the stars and says goodnight to her grandad. She even waves to him as well.

Thank you stan.X.

I think that it is nice as well CB. Grace was just turned 2 when her granddad died. Obviously, she is still too young to understand why her grandad isn't there. They do have a photo of him in a frame at the side of the fire and they've got his budgie as well.

I think I will come to Dorset today then Maggie it is really grey here mind I think the sun is trying to get through, anything is better than yesterday.

I think I'll be visiting Dorset, lol. We have sun but it's not that warm. I don't mind just as long as it means I can work outside, I love my garden. This is what I've been working on today, just finished the bench and potting up my violas. Only the front garden gates to go now! V. tired, off to bed for a couple of hours.

That all looks very neat and tidy rainy. I don't bother with ours, I never go outside anyway. I can't bear to sit in the sun, I used to but not now. It was the hottest place in the country on Monday and they reckon 25 on friday. I'll be staying in then!

I'm like you CG - I cannot cope if it's too hot and stay in until late afternoon. That is why I always do the majority of my work now. I am now showing off but this is my front border from the road, when I came here 7 years ago, there was nothing. It's supposed to be wild and woolly - a cottage garden.
No gaps - no weeds. I find the garden the best therapy for me, I am so at peace when I am out there.

That looks really lovely Carol.
