I think the one I have in my kitchen is a weeping fig.  It's about 7ft tall but that's only because I never look after it, otherwise it might have been 15ft!!

Evening all.  Hope that everyone is as well as can be expected.  Must admit that we have the heat on 'cos it's not too warm here and our bungalow is a cold one.  

Hope that everyone has enjoyed the bank holiday as much as they possibly could.

CG, those weeping figs grow really big, they're great! I've had a few of them in my time, I would love an umberella plant like I used to have but I've never seen one for sale anywhere. Mine had come from a friend.

I used to have umbrella plants capt, where you make new ones in bottles???

Our heating never been turned off yet

my heating isn't off either, it comes on 3 or 4 times a day, be rare for me to turn it off before may, usually goes off during may  but sometimes june.

and it's back on in sept 🙂

What have you done to upset your smilies CK?  You must really feel the cold Shona to have your heating on so long.

I don't know ..... They still work but no matter where I try & put one it always goes at the very start of my post!

Morning all.   That is an odd problem with your smileys CK.  Wonder how that's happened.  

Can't stop long as I have to go for a blood test this morning but I can go to the Walk-in Centre for this one.  I'll then have a mooch round town and then I'll go for my swim.

we were selling gardenia's today in work £12, they were beautiful but we don't have anywhere to put it really.
