Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

We bought one from mamas & papas, a new pushchair & carseat but a secondhand carrycot from our local fb  baby items for sale page ...... all fit on the the same chassis.
Carrycots are so tiny now compared to when we bought prams for our babies that they are grown out of in a couple of months so hardly get any use Smiley Sad  I think the one we bought had only been used for three weeks, it looked brand new & was only a third of the price  Smiley Surprised

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Morning all.

Babies can be expensive I must admit but I love 'em.  Steph's MIL spent £600 on a pram for Grace and Steph, as much as she gets on well with her MIL, wasnt happy because the said pram wouldn't have lasted 2 minutes.

We have a rather miserable start to the day here.  It's wet and horrible but at least it's nowhere near as bad as last week.  Also, and more importantly, it's not as bad as other parts of the country by a long long way.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

They are looking for one that is a  a complete travel system with carrycot , car seat , pushchair , mother care & mamas & papas both have ones in sale atm .      So we are going to give them some money so they can get what ever they choose.

DH  got my  basket crib down this weekend & we've given it a good clean .

I used it for both my Sons & packed it away in the hope it would become a family heirloom LOL .   Its a large German made one we had from Jessops so wasnt cheap !

All the drapes are drying so once it assembled i will put a pic on .

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Hello 🙂

I have been unable to get on this post the last few times I've been on fhg..... but it's working today.

I have no time to read  through though, so just hope that things are ok. Get well soon to anyone who is not feeling well xx

I am so tired all the time still... even taking vit D and other tablets hasn't really helped. I feel like a lazy mare!

I had my blood test done again and some levels have improved, the gp just put a note on saying to continue with the vit D.

Doesn't really make me feel good, I am so fed up. I really need to up my exercise, but if I feel tired, how can I do that... I need to just get on with it.  I am busier round the house cleaning up after the pets,  but feel so lethargic. Things can only improve 🙂

I know I sound like a moaning minnie! Take care everyone xxx

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

If you want a moan Pix, you moan away.  There are times that we all down and motivation seems to be sadly lacking.  I know the feeling well.  Hope that you soon feel better.  (((((Pix)))))

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Thanks xx
I feel like it is nothing compared to what a lot of people are going through, so try not to moan about it. Just gets annoying sometimes. Today I have got slightly more done, with the help of my kids.

I think what annoys me most is.... when you are lucky enough to have your life, you should enjoy it, make the most of it, treasure it. Seize the day...

But I don't do that... I plod along. I need to be more grateful for this life I have. Being a bit tired... that's nothing.
xx
