Very cold here, I am tucked up in bed wearing a fleece. No snow, but it is pelting it down with rain. Glad that I don't have to go out today.

Afternoon all.  It's blowing a gale, cloudy and wet here at the moment.  Must admit that that the rain has stopped.  How long for is anyone's guess.

Congrats on the BLUE Grandbaby news PCC ..... I still can't get my head round us having a Pink one with only having had Blue myself
Imogen finally learnt to crawl properly today & boy do I know about it, she wouldn't stay still & has been giving the cat grief    we were begining to think she would bypass crawling because she prefers you to walk her round .... either that or she just wriggled to wherever she wanted to be
She's on her way to her Mums now for the weekend. Poor Mum, she's in deserate need of baby cuddles atm, her Nan died a few days ago (she spent a lot of her childhood being brought up by her Nan & they were really close) She wasn't much older than me   she helped nurse her in her last few days & now has a funeral to help arrange. Where's her Mum when she needs her .... oh yes, 400+  miles away & has NO plans on coming until the funeral 
I haven't told her about her crawling, I don't want her to think she missed out on seeing her so I shall just sound suprised if she rings to tell me

Congrats on the blue grandchild Von.

You'll need all the help you can get CK now's Imogen is crawling.  Steph was crawling at six months old and walking at 10 months old and Grace wasn't far behind.  Steph was 14 months before she got her first tooth though and that was one of her molars as well.  I bet Imogen's mum is very upset over her nan.  It's a sad time for her.

well you all know what I think of her but even so, I hate to think of her upset & would still do anything I can to help her. We were supposed to be going over for a couple of days tomorrow but thats on hold now.

It doesn't seem two minutes since Imogen was born and she'll soon be one.

ah that's sad for Imogen's mum CK, you are very kind to her even though you're not fussed on her!

gosh!!! a birthday party coming up...gives me 6wks to learn to walk again, so I can party too!! I can't wait for the photo's of that party....

It was my youngest granddaughter's birthday last week.  This is the cake her DAD made for her party.

I know it's boastful but I am very proud of him.  He made the sponge cake in the morning then did his 300 mile round trip to get his other daughter and then did the icing when he'd got them both to bed that night!

Was talking to grandson about his forthcoming birthday - he wants to have a party this year, but he wants chocolate brownies with candles in as he's not keen on cake.

I'm off the hospital on Tuesday to get this cast off and an xray. I think there will be another cast after this one.
