aaww poor Lottie, fireworks may look nice but a wee doggie doesn't know it.

I know it's only a thread on here but I've had a lovely night, a laugh with all my cyber mates! OH has been here but asleep for most of the evening, he's wide awake now!!!! typical.

I've got me hungry head on, so I'm going to ask him to do me a piece of toast now...

Happy new year all and good morning.  Ed, I did leave some cake for you all but, never mind.  I'll get some more later.

Had to dash lash night as a couple of the neighbours had nipped out but wanted to be back home before midnight as the pub they'd gone to was rather too crowded for them.  What they expected it to be on new year's eve, I don't quite know.  They saw that our lights were still in so came to mortify us.   Never mind.

I'm off now 'cos me wants to go for a swim.  For once during the week I can go in extra specially early.

Happy New Year.

 No coffee for me Stan thank you, just had a big mug of tea with bacon, square sliced sausage, two fried eggs sunny side up, black pudding, fried tomatoes and a bit of fried bread.

Me thinks it is a good thing I go back to work Friday as I never eat like that when working ! Porridge in the morning then.

I've got tea thanks stan, I wouldn't have minded sharing corgi's breakfast though.  I don't know what's wrong with me recently, I've lost my appetite and found a pig's!

Just got back from my swim.  Believe it or not, we are having our recyclable rubbish emptied this morning.  No I'm not cracking up and I do know that it's new years day.  It should have been taken on Christmas Eve but wasn't.  It should have been taken yesterday but wasn't.  I emailed the council on Monday to check that it would be taken yesterday but I didn't hear anything.  I also threatened told them that if it wasn't taken, I would be paying January's council tax two weeks late.  It's surprising what they can do when they put their minds to it.

I'll take you up on the offer of a coffee Stan.  Thank you.

Morning. Horendous weather here with horizontal rain again. Our bin men come tomorrow.They deserve NYD off as they work hard. My lights have tripped & I can't reach the fuse box without the steps which are in the shed so I am managing in the gloom!

Weather is horrid here wind & rain but at least its not snow i hate snow !

Sorry im not about much ,  my chest is really bad atm , went to dr yesterday & he sent me to hospital . More tests x rays  & pills 😞

So we didnt go out as planned for NYE just stayed home  , it was nice to have a quiet one for a change 🙂

Sorry you're not well pcc.  This weather doesn't help does it.   We just went to daughter's last night but we came home at eleven.  It was nice though, her in laws were there too and we played a couple of games.  Had to go back again this morning as it's granddaughter's 9th birthday today so we nipped in to take her presents.
