Sorry to hear about Miss S Stan. I just cannot believe the police. What on this earth were they thinking of? Surely, common sense should have told them that under the circumstances, an ambulance should have taken her to hospital and not you.
Sending a load of hugs to Miss S ((((((((((((((Miss S)))))))))))))

Sending get well vibes to Miss S - hope she makes a full and fast recovery. Should I look out a box of bubble wrap Stan?
Right - I have just bought the last Chrimble pressie (mine from MIL).
Is looking forward to laughing at "him indoors" as he does the mass wrapping session - I do the shopping and he does the wrapping.

We did Grace's presents shopping together more or less but I did get some on my own but my mum wrapped them. We have to double up on presents for her 'cos she's 3 two weeks today. No, I'll alter that. She's 63 (in the head) in 2 weeks.

oh they all are these days Chris! I was talking to a wee girl in work the other day, we had a real conversation about Santa, and I said he would creep into the bedroom to see if she was asleep and there she is in the middle of the store, creeping along!!!! her mother was in hysterics at the end of the aisle. It was so lovely to see a child who would converse and the mother not having a fit because I actually spoke to her child.

Oh CB, that sounds just like Grace. A while back, she said to her nan 'Nanny, can I wash the dishes please?' Could do with her round here I think even though she'd wear me out.
Hope that everyone stays safe with the weather this week. It looks like it's been raining here overnight. We've had the forecast for strong winds later on in the week.

Oh Stan its just the same as when my son had his car accident recently , his car ended upside down in a field & the police told them to go to hossy , they didnt call an ambulaence or do anything useful & sons back was hurt thankfully not badly but he has needed physio for several weeks .
Sending healing vibes to Miss S for a quick recovery ((hugs))

Oh Captain, I know exactly what you mean, it is lovely when you can talk to the children without the mothers thinking you are up to no good, we have a woman who comes in with her little boy twice a week and he always runs up to me to say hello, he likes to put the labels in the stripping for me. his mum just gets on with her shopping in that aisle, he came in with a chocolate for me on Friday so sweet.

aawww bless him! she was looking at those reindeer head band thingies they've given us and she shouted "mummy look it's a reindeer on that lady's head, can I go and see" and that was it!!! she was so funny. Then a guy came up behind me and shouted "excuse ME"...ooops Scrooge is in the building!!!!!
Have a nice day everyone...any sewing going on at the moment? I'm just packing up some doggie biscuits I've made, hopefully there's another £20 sitting on the table for our donkey's. Wish me luck!

My sewing has been put away though I did get asked for three more Raggy Wreaths yesterday. I am knitting some gloves for Jackie too. Stringing up the lights on the stairs at the moment in amongst the greenery.
