I wrote the Christmas cards for our neighbours a couple of weeks ago but I only delivered them on Wednesday. We are doing well generally for Christmas cards at the moment. My birthday cards are still up but they will be coming down in the next day or two so that the Christmas cards can go up.

Hello-oh, sorry but you haven't got rid of me, not yet anyway, still alive, if not exactly kicking. Been having a bit of a time, but heck, what else can I expect. I'll spare you the details but I'm home again now and in the care of the District Nurses, who are fabby. Thank God for them and my MacMillan Nurse.
So Happy Birthday, very belated, to Chris, the wee knitted Santa is for you and anyone else who needs a smile this morning, I just thought he was gorgeous. How old were you Chris? I'm 58 next year - gads nearly a pensioner - I'll have to start lying - I can't believe I'm nearly 60
Anyhoo, have to go now, my love and thanks for all the kind messages of support, you know who you are Loved the Youtube piece Merc, very peaceful. See you later, Carol xxxxx.

Carol, hope that you feel more comfortable at home and hope they give you loads of support. xx
I am having a Crimbo party panic. OH's work do is tomorrow and he has just said today that there is a spare place, and I'm going 🙂
I don't really do dressing up. I need to go dress shopping and maybe shoe shopping too. They need to be dressy but comfy, I know I sound like I am 90!!
I have only just started to write Christmas cards - need to get them posted 🙂

Afternoon all. Glad to see you back Carol and thank you for the birthday wishes. I was 56 on Tuesday. About three months back, I received a letter from the DWP telling me that my pension age is now 65 so I have to wait another 5 years if they don't alter it - again. At times, I feel like a youngster but the majority of the time, I feel a lot older but at the end of the day, I don't have much to complain about.
(((((Carol)))))
Love the snowman.
