Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

I thought I posted on here yesterday, lol, but it appears I didn't...

Hope you're all ok. Stroppy I cannot believe they actually thought they wouldn't have to give you a full like for like replacement for your wheelchair. And no real apology either! Very disappointing. Hope the new chair arrives soon.

I have been hob nobbing with Russ Abbott again, lol. I got a hug greeting this time Woman Wink

He's like the loveliest uncle, and he makes me feel part of the family.

If you're going to get new friends, get the nicest ones, eh? I was at a family party Smiley Happy

Have had a busy few weeks, the outlaws visited, I got my downstairs floors tiled (they look fab!) and my washing machine broke. Thankfully there were two non-uniform days at school that week, so I didn't have to go to the laundrette!

Oh and I have had cuppas and a chat with two separate people, so I am trying to make friends here. Can't be a lonely moo on my pc forever. I need to grab life and get out there and enjoy things more.

How is it December already?? I think I'd better get writing some Christmas cards and do a bit of Christmas shopping. xx

Twishy - just nip out and buy something else to use for the project - the original stuff will immediately be found.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Have been out for lunch today and I had a lovely meal.  I started off with pate and toast, and then had cod, chips and mushy peas and for pud, I had apple and winter fruit crumble with custard.  I am full now but it was brilliant.  It only cost £11.95 plus a drink.  I think that we'll be having our tea at around 7pm.

I've been threatening to do just that Stroppy...in the hope that it will be frightened into showing itself.....

I've been giving it a right telling off interspersed with prayers to St Tony but nowt's surfaced yet....

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Mum lost her purse in the house once.  She couldn't find it anywhere.  More than a few prayers were said.  I went into my mum's bedroom and found the purse under her bed as her purse had fallen out her handbag.  Sometimes, prayers are answered.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

glad you had a nice time Chris.

I've been in work, a lady came up to a guy on the butchers who I made a santa for his work hat. She asked him who made it and he said me, she asked would I make her one!!!! so that should be more money for the donkey sanctuary. So I've been sewing like mad tonight to make a few more.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

That's brilliant CB.  At least cottage industry is still living.  We keep getting orders of Grace's great grandmother for hats and mittens.  I'm not complaining even though she can be a bit of a pain.  As long as we get paid, that's all that matters.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Morning all.

Hope that the Swishy one has found her material.

The weather seems to be a bit quieter here today.  I hope that it's like that tonight as we are going out for our tea.  Might see Grace tonight but her mum and dad might be going out and Graham's mum will be having Grace.  I'd love to see her again.

Must go now.  Hugs to all that need them.
