Afternoon all.  Good to see biker back.

Took mum out earlier and we came back with some tights and a litttle bag for Grace for Christmas and/or her birthday.  I think that she might be one happy little lady.  She always is though.

It's cloudy and cool here at the moment.  At least it's not snowing or frosty at the moment.  I'll put up with what we have at the moment as I don't like snow and ice.

it's dark, it's raining, it's miserable and cold.

but I'm going to make some mince pies tomorrow, test the mincemeat and have a practice run.

I'm still looking for two gifts then I've done them all bar OH, who won't even tell me what he wants....gawd, MEN!!!!!

CB - men never know what they want - I've given up waiting for OH to give me his list - I've bought him slippers. Oh I've also got him socks - in this house all men HAVE to have socks for Chrimbo.

Sits on the step waiting for CB to make some mince pies.  I've just got a few little bits to buy plus my dad's present and I haven't a clue what to buy for him.  We got a couple of things for Grace today.  The thing is, it's Grace's birthday on 29th December so we buy a few things and then we have to decide what she has for when.   Grace will be three this time and it doesn't seem two minutes since she was born.

OH is sock mad...he loves those thermal hot sock thingies...are they 2tog or something? he cannot pass a stand of socks without having a look!!!!

He is not excited about Christmas at all, he never is, and I'm the opposite!

oh well, I guess it's just a wee stocking for the miserable bleep!!

It's ages since Kitten has posted isn't it?  I wonder how she is.

I will keep thinking that it's Thursday today even though I know that it's Wednesday.  

We've had fog forecast for morning but hopefully, the forecasters have done their usual bit and got it wrong - again.

I've never heard of mowls baby or adult ones.  I wonder if it's 'moles' they're talking about.

Rather cloudy here this morning and it looks like it's been raining.   At least it's not freezing or snowing which is a blessing.

Hope that Stroppy is feeling better today and that everyone is as well as can be expected.  Hugs to all that need them.

I've made those mince pies, first of the season. The pastry just melted away in your mouth, I'm very pleased with that recipe! OH has snaffled 3 in one go, I had two. They seem a little small, I can amend that.

At this rate I'll be making them every day!!!!!

I will pass on the mince pie thanks i dont like them or christmas pudding & cake as they all have mixed fruit in them & i dont like fruit .

Atm i have a bad chest infection so back on more pills if i take any more i will rattle ,  dont think i will be doing much sewing or anything my head is thumping     i do wish Drs would stop messing about with my meds , im sure it dosnt help while i still have the mac tb bug in my system.

I've been like a bear with a sore head for the last couple of hours as we've changed from Sky to Virgin Media and they've been to change everything over today.  At least I'm back online obviously.
