apart from the trip to the seaside to have our lunch, I have spent the whole day cutting out my felty bits for making Christmas bits and bobs to sell at work.

I've also found the robin pattern so I've cut some of them out, Stroppy is owed one.

the dress debacle was so..... Someone once gave me a pattern that she used all the time to make lovely plain but striking dresses. She was big like me so I thought I'd have a go. I bought some lovely patterned fabric, cut out the pattern and then sewed it up. She'd only given me two left sleeves!!!!

I was walking round like I had my arms in a straight jacket!! That material cost me a fortune, I didn't have enough left to make another sleeve, so I bundled it up in the cupboard and never sewed another dress ever again!

Morning all.  Can't really make out what the weather's doing here today.  At least it's not frosty. I'm going for a swim later.  I've not been for the last few days due to this cancer thing on my chest.  At least it seems to be drying up a lot now and it's not stuck to the top of my PJ's for the last couple of nights.  I'll just see how it is after a swim today.

Im going to a BLF breathe easy meeting this afternoon ,  it closed down years ago & has now re-opened locally so i'll give it a go .

Well that rules out Swishy fishy snogs then......fishes only give sloppy wet ones.... with a bit of a salty tang....and occasionally a slip of the tongue......

It looks like it's been raining overnight.  According to the front page of the paper this morning, the weather is going to be bad in a few days time with freezing weather and it's definitely going to be wintry.  Wrap up warm everyone.  We'll be stocking up with food over the next few days.
