Mumsie's picture is upside down for me too.
I am home, stiff and sore but glad it is over with.
Breakfast was lovely - eggs benedict. They didn't come and disturb me until 8am either, by which time I was awake and been to the bathroom.

I have had a great girly sewing weekend with my friends. Need to chill out now as I am shattered.

Can't understand why my last photo of Charlotte looked upside down to some of you! You've either moved to Australia or it was because I was using my iPad. So wil try again with a photo of Charlotte in her party frock at yesterday's picnic.
I never thought a picnic in October could be so enjoyable. We went to Rufford Park near Nottingham. The weather was beautiful and
we had a gazebo up and laid out a picnic for family and friends. We all toasted Charlotte with sparkling wine (it was a sort of alternative to a christening as mum and dad aren't religious). One of the high points was they organised an electric buggy for my husband as he can't walk far and all the little ones insisted on having rides - it was as good as having a donkey. OH really enjoyed himself.
Glad Stroppy is out of hospital and hope the stiffness and soreness has worn off.
Must have a look at MDCC.

Now why isn't the photo appearing in the post? I'm just getting the link. What am I doing wrong folks?

Afternoon all.
Mumsie, what I normally do when I put photos on here is click on the landscape icon nextdoor but one to the right of the smileys. Hope that helps. Charlotte is lovely by the way.
The weather here has been quite nice today but it's gone a bit cooler now and it's a bit breezy.
Just deciding what to knit next. Don't know whether or not to do a hat or another headband.
Hugs to all that need them.

Thanks books, that's brilliant. I've just had a little practise. These things are easy when you know how!
It's been beautiful here today - really sunny. I took my lunch into the garden. The cat joined me and lay stretched out on the grass enjoying the sunshine. Won't get many more days like these.

That's a lovely photo of Danielle Stan. I just love little ones and I very often think that it's a pity they have to grow up.
06-10-2013 6:23 PM
Aww...Charlotte & Danielle...so utterly gawjuss & squinchy
06-10-2013 8:04 PM
How ya doin Merc? I agree with you - those young ladies are absolutely delectable. I'll be seeing my lovely little lady next Saturday - her of the make up - at two years of age.
06-10-2013 9:19 PM
Aww Chris...ya loves her to bits really
06-10-2013 9:44 PM
You're right Merc. I just love her loads. She loves us for different reasons. I play with her a lot and she loves my mum for the chocolate cake we get from the supermarket. She is a crafty little madam just like her mum at that age.
