Morning all.  CB, I'm on my way.  I still love crumble.

Mum's not had a good night.  We don't know whether it's palpitations or what it is but she wasn't so good during the night but not as bad as she has been in the past.  This is why I didn't ring for the paramedics but  I'll ring the doctor's at 8.30 to see if I can get her in to see him this morning.  I wouldn't care, when I saw him the other week, he was only saying that he hadn't seen my mum for a while.  Methinks he'll be seeing at some point today.  I'm beginning to feel like I live at our doctors surgery with one thing and another.  Never mind.  Everything will be sorted in the end.

We have our flu jabs on Wednesday morning.  Just managed to get hold of the doctors and I have got an appointment for mum at 9.50 so I'll take her down then and see what he says.  I'll be back later and let you know what is happening.

Morning all.

Looks like its a day at the docs for me too as Mr S has a 5pm appointment  (he must be bad as he actually called and made his own appointment and wants me to drive)

Just got back from the doctors with mum.  He's pleased with her blood pressure and heart rate but she has had to have blood tests done with the practice nurse.  We've both had our flu jabs done this morning so it saves us going back on Wednesday.  Mum was told back in May that they were referring her to the heart valve clinic but we haven't heard yet so they are going to chase that up.  Just got to wait for the blood test results now.

Hope that Mr S goes on alright at the doctors later Stan.

Yes, it's been beautiful hasn't it, the only complaint is we've had no rain again for weeks.   It'll be strange to feel the cold and have to put a sweater or a jacket on.  Smiley Happy

Morning all.

I can see where you are coming from CK with a little one limiting your knitting time but you're right, we wouldn't have it any other way.  Little ones are just gorgeous.

Thinks I'll take one of you hugs please CB.  It's very kind of you.  My mum feels a lot better today apart from feeling tired.  At 81, I think that she's entitled to feel tired.

My left arm is a bit sore from where I had my flu jab yesterday.  Mum's arm isn't hurting though.  Never mind.  I don't think my arm will drop off though - if it did, I would be armless wouldn't I?

seeing you've got a sore arm, here.....consoling smiley.gif It does hurt for a day or two but it's not that bad is it? ..... we're a couple of old crocs aren't we? hahahahaaaa.

Just watched the episode of Downton Abbey that's caused a stir...hhhmmmm...I think the more episodes they make the weirder they get.

CB, I don't think that we could get a good body out of the pair could we?  My mum and I very often say that.  My heart's ok and mum's isn't.  It's just that I need a full skeleton transplant but I don't think that they've started doing them yet.  Also, I agree that your arm hurts for a couple of days but it's nothing major.

I've never watched Downton Abbey 'cos I've never really fancied it.  We're watching Great British Bake Off at the moment.  I'd like Ruby to win 'cos I like her.
