Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Considering that she's only 2, she's not too bad.  More like 62 in the head.  Takes after her mum but even Steph wasn't putting make up on at 2.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Hi to you lovely lot, I've been laid low this past week or so but feeling better now.   I was out yesterday, outside in a real shop - do you like my new wig?Ebay 3 Mar 488.jpg

It's a bit, well red, lol.  Scuse the dressing gown.  Loving all the pics, the siamese is adorable, giraffe too, but one little girl is going to be mortified in about, oh, 10 years time when she sees these, so hang on to them Chris,

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Love the wig Carol.  Grace's mum's hair is that colour and it's a lovely colour.

I think that you're right.  Grace is going to be seriously embarassed over those photos in a few years.  She'd had a sleep before she came here so she was motorised whilst she was here.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Thank you girls, soooooo much.  My own hair is red - and the wee girl took one look at me (bald mind), in my jeans and said 'red, funky' - tried on loads, but she was right.  I do have another wig (more sedate) and yes Towery, they do itch a bit and you get hot.   I told the story already that I whipped my wig off at the traffic lights for a good scratch and the woman in the next lane's face was a picture, lol.

Sorry Towery, not been listening to any radio or anything else (had an ear abcess) and was miserable - basically slept for a week - what have I missed?  I read a wee bit but that was all - no telly, no radio.

I'm rubbish at bowling too Merlin.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Thanks for the Sayers tip Towery - not so mad any more on Cadfael  but my Dad will be listening to it.  I dare not tell my father I am unwell (he worries) - so I just lie - 'did you hear?', he'll ask me.  Oh yeah, it was great.  Going to the fire me.

Desert Island Discs tomorrow is Lee Mack (the comedian).  I love him - we saw him, oh, 3/4 years ago as part of the Glasgow Comedy Festival and he was hilarious, really very funny, reminded me of Eric Morecambe.  Be interesting to see what somes out about his working class Lancashire background.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Waves franticly at rainy - thanks for the lovely card, it arrived today. I meant to email earlier, but I'm busy knitting franticly. Trying to finish a cardi for grandaughter's first birthday.

You look absolutely fab in that picture, and as the others have said it looks really natural.

Hopefully I might get a theatre slot either Wednesday or Friday next week, until then I get to be at home. Mind you, feels rather as if the kidney infection is back - hopefully it will settle down.
