It's in the box to go back Capt - 'Woman dies in Footmuff incident' - they're bleeding lethal.
Stroppy - send me some of those at once, I don't have any of those..........................yet I see my oncology consultant tomorrow, oh joy, to see what he has in store for me next. I'll have to put real clothes on - I live in jim jams - I've lost 11lbs in weight so should be able to find something that fits me.

I know what you mean about getting dressed Rainy. The nurse came to do the dressing on Monday, walked in and asked "where's Judi" - she didn't recognise me as I had clothes on.
I met the hospital registrar in the pub a couple of weeks ago and he hadn't got a clue who I was as he'd never seen me wearing clothes before.
Mind you, I have on occasions been known to go to the pub across the road from the hossie in my nightie and bath robe.
If you can find a doctor who will prescribe American meds, try a combination of Viacodin and Palladone SR - but be VERY careful to start with a low dosage, and only take them when you are tucked up safely in bed.

Evening all. Sorry I've been AWOL today but I've been on yet another one of my day's out. Today, we went to Cleveley's near Blackpool. We had a three course meal when we got there which was lovely though the service could have been better.
Carol, hope that everything goes as well tomorrow. Had an email from one of my Welsh cousins earlier. We are still awaiting results but my auntie has said she will undergo any treatment that the doctor's suggest. Cardiff are still looking at the results before Witheybush at Haverford West decide on what is the best treatment so we are still waiting.
I know what you mean about being as high as a kite on some pills Stroppy. I was on some like that once but I felt so spaced out, it was unbelievable. Only took them for a few days. I'm now back on the pain that I was on originally. They work alright for me and that's all that matters to me.

How about this J.? This is how I used to look - birthday April 2012 - before all this carp -
Now, Marilyn Monroe I wasn't, but presentable you know, and look at all the wine glasses, I'm teetotal now. Should have had the nose job though when I had the chance, lol Now I don't brush my hair from one week's end to the other.

That's a lovely photo Carol. There's nothing wrong with your nose. You look lovely on the photo.
It took us ages to get back from our day out as a lorry had crashed on the motorway and they were trying to move it. The lorry was in a right state. The drivers side front wheel had come off, the windscreen was smashed and there was quite a lot of greenery on the whole of the vehicle. Methinks that the lorry and trailer may well be a write off.

Dear Chris, thank you for the compliment, will you adopt me please?

Of course I will adopt you. It would be fun wouldn't it?
I'm absolutely shattered. Should have an easier day tomorrow. We are off out again on 18th September. This time, we are going to a town north of Manchester called Bury. They have a brilliant market there three days a week. Each week over 250,000 visit the market and town. Just shows how good the market is. On the 2nd October, we are going to Boundary Mill near Colne in Lancashire. Honestly, there's no rest for the wicked is there? I must be very wicked or I've killed a cat. Fortunately, I have never killed any cats.

Oooh thanks. I don't eat much Your next outing sounds great. I'm off to watch a bit telly, rare for me, but everyone else seems to be doing the same x.

I must admit that I love the Bury Market trip. We've been there a few times but we couldn't make it last year as my mum wasn't feeling too good as she'd just had one of the shock treatment to try and get her heart beating properly. Needless to say, that didn't work as I had to get her back into hospital on New Year's Eve last year. She has picked up a lot since then but still has some good days and some not so good days. Have to take mum to the doctor's tomorrow for a blood test for her warfarin. It's been too low lately so they are trying to get it back into range which for mum is anywhere between 2 and 3.
Methinks that I will be going to bed soon as I am absolutely shattered. After we'd had our meal, we had about three hours around the shops in Cleveleys. I'm certain that it's the fresh air that's got to me. Never mind.

Rainy -you look absolutely fabulous!
I must admit to giggling at the foot muff - the sort of thing that I would do.
Books - it is blood test day for me tomorrow, off to the hossie first thing and keep everything crossed that I get to come home again.

Thank you darling people, I guess I did brush up rather well, lol. Where you been all night Maggie - not cavorting or having fun or anything to make me jealous Im 8th April Stroppy - what about you? Since you've been so kind here's a bit of a horror story - me - now - just before bed
Look at her, poor old sod, can't even see the camera controls. All just for fun. Boy, do I need some fun.
I'm being adopted by Chris, don't know if she's told her Mum yet, got me bag packed Chris, Mum'll have to bunk up or we'll get a foldy bed. Ding dong - who are you? - I'm Carol - Chris' chum, come to stay for a bit - thud as mother hits the floor. And on that note, goodnight to all you bonkers lot, I hope that you sleep well, Rainy xx.

Hi everyone. managed to get back in again. Carol and J (HUGS).
The excitement of getting the dang thing to work at last has addled me little brain so off to bed!

Morning all.
Hope that everything goes well with your blood test stroppy and that you don't end up back in hospital.
Carol, it's quite alright. We have a sofa bed so beds are not a problem.
Hope that everyone is as well as can be expected and hugs to all that need them.

Morning all
Good luck with your blood's stroppy and to RDW with her oncology appointment.
Is it breeding season for owls or something !!
We regularly have them in the garden and surrounding fields but for the last week or so one has taken up residence in the tree opposite my bedroom window and every morning at about 2am he starts hooting his bliddy head off.
Now I'm a country girl so am quite used to animal noise but this is non stop and some times ear piercing when they screech and to top it off last night he was jioned by a pal, well bird lover or not if the start again tonight I'm gonna stick their "twit tawhoo's" where the sun don't shine

Bump really for the sewing thread, lingering down in the nether regions, pfft..........
Anyhow, I had my calcium infusion today and saw oncologist - they are processing my blood with all the stem cells (goodies) that they took when I was in the hands of the Blood Transfusion Service a couple of weeks back. Got to see all is ok with it and no baddies or bugs lurking in there. No point in putting it back into me if it isn't perfect. So, looking at end of Octoberish before Stem Cell Transplant and then period in isolation. Roll on I say.
I am bald. I already have a couple of wigs, one night when I have the energy I'll show you and see what you think. I looked liked O Osb in most of them, lol, by the way what's the bold S. done to her face OMG she looks like an alien. Off for a cuppa - anybody got any news/chat?
