Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Afternoon all.  Been a bit busy today.  Went to pay for papers then I went for my swim.  Came back, had a coffee and then took mum for a food shop.  We had our lunch and did a word game that was in yesterday's paper.

Not heard anything from my family in South Wales so far as to how my auntie is.  Thanks for the hugs Stan.  It is appreciated.

Glad that you are feeling better today Stroppy.  I hope that you have all that you need for your Christmas card order.

I just feel like I'm coming down with a cold.  I hope that I'm wrong 'cos I hate having a cold.  Never mind.  I always say that there are always people worse off than me.

Hugs to all that need them.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

when that clip was shown in the daily mail the readers jumped on it saying how cruel

obviously none of them were cat owners, no one on earth could make a cat do that if they didnt want to

when he/she came off it when it hit the cupboard, they got back on themselves

my mild mannered cat would claw my face off if i tried to "dress" her!

Just watched the local weather forecast on the Beeb and the lady that gave the weather forecast was called Sarah Blizzard.  Now we don't want any of those do we?

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Chris (Books), would you like this for your wedding outfit?  It's quite big (7"dia approx), but very light.  It has a fixing on the back to go on your hair but also a safety pin to go on clothing or a handbag.  Also, much as I love your wedding outfit, prepares to run for the hills, do you not think a plain pink top would suit better with the other 2 pieces?  Runs>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Ebay 3 Mar 430.jpg

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Thanks for your kind offer of the flower but unfortunately, it is a bit light as the pinks in my outfit are a more cerise pink.  I know that it doesn't show up very well on the photo but there are cerise diamantes on the top which do actually match the skirt.

Thanks once again for your kind offer Carol.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Carol you are most definitely forgiven.  The hospital she is in at the moment have sent all the blood test results off to Cardiff to see what they say before deciding what is the best course of treatment.  I should find out more this week and I will let you know.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Sorry to be late, but I have a good excuse. I went to the outpatients clinic and reported how I had been feeling over the weekend. The verdict was that because the infection count hasn't gone up (it hasn't gone down either), I am to stay at home and keep taking the meds.

They actually agreed that being in hospital over the weekend would probably have been counter productive, as at least I can sleep when I'm at home.
