Waves at 10phizz.

Hi all.

Hope you have all had a good weekend.

Feeling like a wrung-out dishrag. Temperature is still sky-high, infection count continues to go up, blood pressure is so low that I can't even sit up without passing out. However things are improving a bit, I haven't been sick at all all day, and cough is less. Still waiting for results to come back from micro-biology, unfortunately bugs grow at their own speed - they are hoping that the results from micro-biology and blood cultures may show what the infection is.

Hope you all get a good night's sleep.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Morning all.

Sorry to hear that you're not well again Stroppy.  Hope that you are soon feeling an awful lot better.

A lot cloudier here today and not like the wall to wall sunshine we had yesterday.  It seems like we are back to our normal summer.

Hope that everyone has a good a day as is possible and hugs to all that need them.

Wot you doing Grumpy? Good to see you. Scorching here today. Off to Knit & Natter later.

Sadly I have to report Collared Dove carnage this morning. They have been nesting on my satalite dish bracket. Not sure if it was one of the young ones or one of the parent birds but there are feathers all over the garden & no remains. Don't know if a cat would have done that or a hawk. So sad after following them from being eggs. There are two cooing in the garden but I can't see if it is a parent & a young one or two parents.Woman Sad

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Afternoon all.  Had a busy afternoon.  I decided that I would give my bedroom a good going over.  Went to the post office to send an item to a buyer.  I was not best pleased at the person that served me only wanted to charge me more than £2 more than they should have done.  Needless say, parcel didn't get sent.  I will send it tomorrow when the said person's boss is in.  She's on the ball and get the postage right.  I then had to go and set a broadband up for one of the neighbours.  I don't mind with that neighbour because he does little jobs for us if we ask him.  He's as mad as a hatter but he's a lovely man.

Hugs to all that need them.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Mind you CB, I can understand where you are coming from with hoof problems.  All of my joints are aching from the hips downwards at the moment.  The other night, my left knee locked on me whilst I was in bed.  Trying to get leg to move was agony and I nearly ended up on the roof.  It's like having toothache in nearly every joint.  Never mind, I'll get there in the end wherever there is.
