ooops got excited there and forgot the rest of my post.

Dairy, I love that travel aid thingy I'd love a moo one of those, just right for all the stuff I keep ramming into the glove compartment!! I'm sure they'd be a big hit.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Had my first session with my personal trainer today, she had me trying all kinds of new things including boxercise (on my knees to save aggravating my bad foot), loved that so she's going to incorporate more of that into my programme. So if anyone wants a short person duffed up, I'm your girl!
Also did some exercise ball workouts & resistance & wieght work. Was rather pleased when I wieghed myself when I left, have lost 1kg since last wednesday.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Evening all.  Had a lovely day out today but we didn't get our outfits so we're going to a mill outlet tomorrow afternoon.  It's only about a 20 minute drive away.  Methinks that I am going to have problems.  If I like an outfit for me, my doesn't.  If she likes one for me, I don't.  She's never shut up all day long and my ears don't know what's hit them.  A big thank you to CB for arranging some lovely weather for us.  It's been beautiful.  Included in the cost of the day out was a three course meal at a hotel on the sea front.  I did well 'cos I started off with melon then I had ham salad which I left some because there was too much of it and I finished the meal off with a small portion of trifle.  It was a lovely meal and the hotel staff did really well as there were about 80 of us on the trip.  The worst part about it was some idiot (it had to be a man) decided to back out of his seat getting of the coach and he managed to walk all over my broken toe.  Guess who nearly ended up committing strangulation.  The idiot man just looked at me like I was mad.  I was - with him over what he did.  Just hope that he hasn't made it worse as it was just starting to feel better and it's been aching since lunchtime.  I don't think that the foot will drop off though - I need both feet for four weeks on Saturday.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Probably just got myself thrown off of our local facebook selling page. Noticed the last few 'wants' are worded as ' anyone got ...... Let me no', 'need a mobility scooter' etc. Been getting so annoyed & have just asked if any of them have heard of the magic word 'please'. Haven't seen it used once.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

That really annoys me as well Gina.  I was brought up to be well mannered and it annoys me when other people don't seem to have heard of manners.  Grace is being taught about manners now and she knows that if she wants something, she has to say please and thank you.  Start 'em off young that's what I say.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

If Grace doesn't say thank you she will at least say 'ta'.  That will do for me.  We were the same with her mum when she was that age.  Steph always knew she had to use the magic words of please and thank you.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Good Evening everyone.

Regrettably, I am once more incarcerated in the institution - the outreach nurse took one look at me this morning and called for an ambulance.

No idea why but I have a raging temperature and I am struggling to keep anything down.  The wound is lovely and clean and healing well, no sign of inflamation, so everyone is pretty puzzled. The infection count is sky high.

I have somehow managed to scrape a lot of skin off my back, and that is all sore and weepy. No idea what I've done, or how I've done it, but it is unlikely to be the cause of the temperature.

Hopefully this will just prove to be a "blip", and I will soon be back to my usual self.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Well, the registrar definitely will want to get rid of me as soon as possible, I kept warning them I was going to be sick and he ignored me, and got covered. They should learn to listen to patients

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Hope you get over it soon Stroppy, is there a chance that it is completely unrelated to your other problems (a nasty bug or something) that you could have picked up due to low immunity? xxx
Not only have I not been thrown off of the selling site (Only been on it about 2 weeks) but I've had several 'likes' to my comment & a few others agreeing with me. Not a remark from the 'askers' who have forgotten the magic word 🙂

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Morning all.  Hope that everyone is as well as can be expected this morning.

I've not looked at the weather properly so far this morning but it must have been cooler overnight as there is condensation on the roof of the greenhouse.

Gina, I've forgotten but why did they stop you from selling?

Stroppy, I hope that things improve sometime soon.

Must go now so hugs to all that need them.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Just got back after buying my outfit from a mill outlet.  I've got a black floatie type skirt with different shades of pink on it, a pink top and a short sleeved bolero type top.  Just got to get my mum sorted now.  Might go into Liverpool on Saturday to see what they have there.
