Mmm - just managed to get through to the hospital, who have informed me that FIL is due to be assessed by SS tomorrow, so won't be discharged today!
Wish they had told me.

No idea what time the assessment will be, and I need to be there - nightmare.

and yes for those that are interested we actually did catch our own tea yesterday and had an absolutely fab day lazing round the lake,sippng wine,eating and generally all just having a good catch up

Well, he's been and gone and got me a new laptop. It's a .....................................................black. One!

I'll have to wait until son in law comes this evening to set it up.

evening darlings.....I've just discovered today that the red clover that is growing all over the place could be of my own doing.....it's in the flippin' bird food we keep putting out, and we've been putting some on the flag steps for the blackbirds my own stupid fault, groan!!! I had to go out and try to dig most of it up today, oooh me aching back! it's a booger to dig up too.

We've had a long tiring day but thorougly enjoyed a big family catch up & Imogens christening today, I'll have a catch later or tomorrow but before I change my mind & refuse to post it, i'll post a pic for you ..... guess who the one pulling a face is 😞

& YES ...... she did wear my christening gown

Morning all.  Woke up to rather a wet morning here and it's still pouring and it it looks set for the day.

Love the photo CK.  You do have two rather handsome babies don't you?  Glad the Christening went well even if you didn't open your anniversary card until late.  Hope that you all had a lovely day.

Morning all.

Yet another false alarm on the baby front yesterday so now swear son's g/f is only doing it for the attention and to get everyone pandering after her.

Feels funny say on the "waiting to be a nana step" all by myself this time when last time around there was'nt even room for a little one to budge in.

Also have a sinking feeling that this little one might arrive on a date that will upset someone in the family no matter what, I know she'll arrive only when she's good and ready but sadly this month is full of dates that have so many other occasions connected to them .

Our grandson Nathen would have turned 21 on the 16th, the anniversary of my Dad's passing on the 20th and Alesha will be 9 on the 24th and I'm quite sure she won't want to share a birthday IYKWIM.
