Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Morning all.  Hope that everyone is as well as can be expected.  Fingers crossed for Twishy today and hope that everything goes well for her.

We've had more rain overnight.  Today is another that I won't be watering in the back garden before I go out.  It also feels a lot cooler.  Just seen a headline on the fron page of the paper which says that we will have more flash floods but the temperature will be 95F by the end of the week.  I think it's a case of enjoy it whilst you can.

Hugs to all that need them.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Afternoon all.  Hope that everyone is as well as can be expected.

We had one almighty downpour this morning at around 11 and another less severe shower about an hour or so later.  It's also a lot cooler than it has been but it's forecast for being hot again at the end of the week.

Sorry to hear that your right hoof is now playing you up now CB.  I still have the quick reply option so where yours has gone CB, I haven't a clue.

Hopes that Twishy is alright after her operation today.

Must go now.  Hugs to all that need them.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Knowing Twishy, she'll fit quite a bit more chocolate in that there's more space.  Smiley LOL

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Yes, I hope twishy's ok, how long are you in hospital for a nursery conversion these days?

I had a blood test at lunch time, it was pretty much the same as the last 13 weeks worth, but now I can hardly straighten my arm!!  Nothing to see, just hurts if I try and straighten it.Smiley Sad

We've still had no rain!!  It's cooler than it was (for the time being) and quite breezy, but still bone dry!

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

When my mum has her warfarin blood test done, she goes to the nurse at our GP's surgery.  Mum has blood taken from one of her fingers.  They then put a spot of blood on a strip and put it into a machine and the reading comes out.

Evening all.

Much cooler here this evening but still glorious sunshine.

Having to use Miss S's lappy as mine has decided it was due for early retirement Smiley Frustrated

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

That's what they did when I was still in hossy  (oh! no, it wasn't finger and strip, it was still needle in vein in elbow, but they tested it straight away) books but now I go to the nurse at the doctors and it's sent to the anti-coagulation clinic.  If there's an urgent change in dose they ring by five and if not you get a form two days later in the post.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Evening CB are the hooves recovered now ??

Not been in the garden myself this evening but doors and windows all still wide open as still warm and stuffy here.

Blackcurrents will have to be picked in the next couple of days though before the birds decide here perfect for pecking and cherries are looking good Smiley Happy
