Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Morning all.

We are right bang in the middle of a thunderstorm here at the moment.  Of course, weather forecasters have it wrong again.  The thunder was only forecast for 1pm!!  At least I won't need to water outside before I go out will I?

Hope that everyone is as well as expected.  Hugs for anyone that needs them.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Terrible weather here today in the Midlands. Had two thunderstorms with torrential rain and now it's gone really dark and looks like it's starting again. Ooooh yes just heard the rumble of thunder. The air is so heavy, it's given me a headache which I know won"t shift until after the storm. Ahhh here comes the rain. Need to go shopping as no fresh food in after being away but doesn't look as if I'll be able to get out of the door for a while.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Good morning. Smiley Happy

We had about 6 drops of rain at some point in the night, sounds about right for us, and we had a lot of thunder around 7am.  I was only vaguely aware of it but Lottie certainly knew, she was sitting in the shower panting and making horrible smells!!!Smiley Sad

The tree fellers are back making an horrendous noise with their cherry picker, chain saws and chipping machine!!  Thankfully they should soon be finished.

Hope you enjoy your new machine pcc, what are you going to make first?Smiley Wink

Cool & misty here. We are going to play with dyeing fabrics. I hope you have a surge protector for your machine Von with all these storms around!

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

We had a rain shower for about half an hour this morning and that was after the thunder at just after 7am.  It's still warm and stuffy here but not quite as bad as yesterday.  I've got a headache as well which I know is down to the weather.  We've also got the plumber and his son back to carry on with the new boiler so the noise they are making isn't helping the headache much.  Taken mum out as it's the AGM of the retired staff association of the firm she worked for.  A friend of hers is bringing her back home when the meeting is over.

Hugs to all that need them

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Waves to CB.  There's little or no wind here at the moment and it's overcast.  It's also very clammy.  I think that the plumber and son will be going soon but they'll be back tomorrow and possibly Thursday morning as well.  I'm ready for my tea now but not much longer to wait now hopefully.

See you all later.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Evening

Long time - no post.

Life has been somewhat of a rollercoaster this year and rather too many changes have taken place which we are all getting use too. Plus I've had some pretty awful health stuff too.

However we are almost out of this tunnel and a new life beckons which I am really excited about.

Upshot - not much crafting has taken place but again that will be changing again soon.

Hope you are all well xxx

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Yes CB, I definitely feel more human now.  Things I am now ready for my supper.  I only have a banana and a fig roll for my supper. Glad that you liked the coos at the Royal Welsh Show CB.

It looks an awful lot like rain here at the moment.  I don't mind it raining at night so long as it's nice during the day.

There's not much that I fancy watching on TV at the moment.  We've got Sky Sports on at the moment and watch T20 cricket.  Loves cricket especially when England beat Australia in the Ashes series.
