I too have noticed there are a lot of views to some threads and not many replies, but its so nice to get a reply when we have a problem or a worry like I have just had with my little dog (see earlier thread.) Nice to know there are caring, helpful people out there, always ready to offer support when needed. xxxx

Carol, from someone who is in the same boat but with different problems, you have my total sympathy.  It is incredibly hard at times to do the best for your much loved pet without causing them some distress or discomfort.  All you can do is keep telling yourself it is for their own good, but you still feel terrible doing it!!!

It is lovely to have a Support line somewhere,, i for one have actually felt more hope for nice people in the world,, there are some still out there and a lot are on Here!!!!. I am going through the changing time of life and its nice to know im not alone!!. And its nice to share pet stories and pictures also.

Hear hear!  I've had so much support from FHGers - even to telephone calls and sending presents to and fro.  Not to mention meeting Brynteg!  (and others but no longer see their posts).  So sad that the great reshuffle of the boards has made them but a tenth of what they were traffic-wise.
