Will your Christmas be this year?
I only ask as I went to a garden centre today and they had a tree decorated in lime green and bright orange......
not colours that make me think of Christmas....
or am I just getting old(er)?.....
oh ......mine will be red, gold and green this year....

Mine is red and gold.

Tree in lounge will be gold with clear lights and lots of crystal and clear (plastic) dangly bits and glass and gold baubles. Tree in the hall will be red, with tartan bows and hanging bits, robbins etc. tend to have a bit more fun with the one in the hall and be traditional with the one in the lounge.

so far it seems to be pretty traditional colours....
they also had a black tree with pink decorations.......I suppose if you have a black and chrome home it would look nice?

we got a black 6ft one a few years ago, a fibre optic thingy
we put it up
and then i dragged the whole thing out into the hall, plugged it in and left it there
and put the normal green one up
if a black one doesnt "go" on our house, it wont go in anyones!

Ours is traditional as well as we have green, red and gold.

Ours is a traditional tree with multi coloured baubles, if the cat leaves them alone they will come out agian for years to come

Admits to having 3 trees, the one in the living room is red and gold,
the one in the living room is dressed with wooden santas and reindeers with dangly legs, baubles and gingerbreadmen
but we do also have one on the landing which the grandchildren decorate so is as tacky and tasteless as possible covered in a million home made bits, more tinsel than you'll find in any tesco and enough lights to give blackpool a run for its money but they love it and so do I ......................it also has enough choccy on it to even last twishy for a month or 2 so you can imagine how laden it is LOL xx

green tree with red and gold decorations... red lights , strings of gold bead ( not tinsel) and a few decs that don't fit the colour scheme but just HAVE to be on the tree.

i did see some turquiose baubles while i was out last week, they looked really nice in a box , wasnt sure they'd look good on dark green tree
as a kid we had a silver tinsely tree for years, til it looked a bit scrawny, it alternated with a real tree,
hated pine needles in carpets for months after xmas

We had a silver tree when I was little Towery....
it seemed huge and had tiny snowman lights on it and miles of coloured tinsel.....
it got balder and balder each year and Mum would curse it as she hoovered up the little silver bits, she always promised herself a green one, then when they got one (I was a teenager by then)she hated it and tried to spray it silver...
bit of a disaster that year....
