Happy Birthday Stan's Mum.

It's been damp, drizzly and foggy ever since we got back from holiday. Just hoping we get the sun back and haven't launched straight into Autumn.

Had a really good relaxing break though and now we are back to reality with a bump!

Have son and grandson's arriving for lunch soon, then have to take MIL shopping for curtains. She has moved back to our area from the Isle of Man, but left most of her stuff over there.

I hope this doesn't make me sound like a really nasty person, but having just nursed FIL through the last year, I really hope MIL stays healthy so that we don't have to start all over again.

Morning all.

Went for the third fasting blood test yesterday, so perhaps the GP will finally agree to make a diagnosis. Gave up trying to get an appointment with the GP and got the A & E department to phone for me, so I have to go on Monday afternoon to discuss the blood test results. The A & E consultant reckons that the GP will refuse to diagnose diabetes and will refuse to prescribe as all 3 fasting blood tests have been less than 10.

I am absolutely disgusted - I have had a bill from son's GP this morning - £250.00 just for filling in a form to confirm that son lacks mental capacity. He hasn't even set eyes on son, he just phoned me up and asked me what to put! When son's GP phoned me it was obvious that he hadn't even read son's records properly.

Still having problems with intermittent internet - getting really fed up with it now.

Its warm and Stormy in Maidstone today,,im a bit headachy and had a Migraine yesterday but got my meds in me in time THANK THE LORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Goin to chill out with my treats and telly and my books when ive done my chores!!!.

It's been cloudy all day here but it hasn't been cold.  I've planted some crocus bulbs in the front garden.  I've also planted the plant that we bought in Knaresborough the other day.
