The thing is CB, finding shoes for me is a nightmare as I can't wear anything with heels.  I think that I will have to buy shoes first and then buy my outfit.

i have been to several balls when oh and i work.it is really nice to dress up posh for the night.and to see all the lovely dresses and men in all there tux's..:-)

also i find it hard to believe that someone is so bored with there own life that they have to be pests on here...X-(

No I've never been to a ball, but one day I am going too, I would love to spend the day getting all dressed up, having my hair and make-up done and then going off to the ball 😄 

I never even had a white wedding...........ex hubby wouldn't hear of getting married in a church so that put paid to that!!! lol

Not me either Huggles, I wouldn't knowingly and deliberately upset anyone, though I admit to saying a couple of things that didn't quite come out right, some time ago now.  You stay Huggles, as someone said, there is enough sadness in the world without trolls/bullies adding to it.

Quite right Maisiemoosie, bullies don't like being confronted themselves and it is a coward who cannot account for their actions.

I've never been to a ball either, I'd look ridiculous in all that posh stuff, though it would be fun.  When I see all the beautiful dresses etc in shops I often wonder who buys them and what they wear them for.
