Let them get on with it, up against all the dreadful things that are happening in the world right now, if this is all they can think of to do with their time, then we should all be sad for them 😞

No doubt I'll be up for a slap or two today, but that's just fine, just so long as it makes whoever happy, then I'm happy 😄

I wasn't resigning, I just foresee an enforced holiday! Do was OK but only a dinner. Painting? Not happening really. Next weekend we Are going to a charity ball on Friday and a Mamma Mia evening on Saturday...my knitting is suffering.

Are you going to really seriously dress up for the ball, you know, the whole works?? I'd so love to do that.

My Son will be coming back down for a visit in July and he has suggested we have a "Henry 8th " day...........he said we should have loads of the food that they had, all dress up in the costume and then eat like they did :|.................he fancies ripping the chicken off the bone just using his hands and mouth:|........I've said that I'm up for it just so long as I haven't got to spit roast a blerdy pig 😐 😉

neither have I been to a ball, mind you I wouldn't fancy the posh frock to be honest, as a coo I don't look particularly well in frocks:-(

I don't do frocks well either CB.  I will have to do a frock job in September as I is off to a wedding and mum and I have been invited both day and night.
