Oh No not again!!.

Bit fed up and only on for a while as i have had another Migraine. I wont go on as i have told the tale before,. Just to say my doctor has found i seem to have a raised level in my blood of something that says you have infection in the body. It was high, then i took antibiotics a few weeks back, had my blood done again and its gone down but does not tell her where in your body it is!. She is probably monitoring this as thinking it could be to do with my Migraines or not. Could be a connection i suppose evn if we know that my hormone levels are out too. i have to go again in two weeks to have another blood test done so she can she if it has risen again. Meanwhile i have to take 30mg of Amitriptyline at night now. Migraines have improved still had a nasty one this morning. No sickness though and pains have gone but Imigran leaves me feeling a bit wiped out.

My Mum gets hellish migraines and as well as trying Imigran she also uses Naramig, perhaps try that

Oh No not again!!.

Awww you poor thing.  I get migraines too - they're just awful, blinding things

I don't think anyone really knows their cause either

I find the only way I can deal with them is to lie in a darkened room & sleep

Aww Rose hope you feel better soon. I used to have migraines for years and took Migraleve but for some uncanny reason they went away. Have not had one for around 15 yrs.

Rose, you have my sympathies over the migraines.  I used to get them really badly but I haven't had one for a few years now thankfully.  Hope that you feel better soon.

I used to get migraines, I went to see an osteopath about 12yrs ago now, and I can count on one hand the amount of migraines I've had since.

may be worth thinking about.

Oh No not again!!.

I find my migraines are stress related, but even finding what triggers them doesn't always solve the problem, so if anyone can tell me how to lead a totally stress free life I would be grateful (as would the rest of us on here!)

I've never suffered from a migraine before in my life (so far), but I hope that yours don't cause you too much extra aggrovation or stress whenever you get them as they do sound mighty horrible *Hugs* 😞 Xx

Oh No not again!!.

I had migranes for a long time real lying down in a darkened room, feeling sick spots before the eyes jobs.  I went to the doctor and we went through a few things that could cause it stress etc, and one suggestion was coffee, so I gave up caffeinated coffee about 10 years ago just to see and they stopped, fingers crossed, touch wood I haven't had one since.  I used to drink a lot of coffee so if I didn't drink very much one day I noticed that was when I got the migranes,  I gave it up when I had 2 weeks holiday and it took just over a week to get out of my system, painfull at the time but well worth it.  I drink de caf now as normal, but on occasion I do have full caf, but so long as I don't have more than one I am fine.
