Hi all. I'd be very interested in getting involved with this. I'm very artsy craftsy and have a shed load of things I've made in the past but haven't got round to doing anything with them. Have you got a link to the rules and regs and info on what kind of things we should be selling? Can I choose my own charity, or are there set charities you sell for? Sorry, lots of questions...lol.

every month you can auction up to 5 lots for any charity you like and post something similar to what i pasted below

MDCC runs for 7 days starting on the last Sunday of each month (excluding December) and sellers are invited to list up to 5 fun auctions to raise money for their favourite charity or good cause.

All are welcome to join in.

oh I do hope our new crafter joins in. I love MDCC it would be a shame if it doesn't continue. and I promise this time to remember what time things end!!!

Hi Linda, sorry I have been trying to log on for ages.

We list up to 5 items on the last Sunday of the month except December. You can list anything you want handmade or not. You can list for any charity of your choice. This months will start on the 28th February and run for 7 days. Don't forget to put MDCC in the title when listing so people can find your items.
It would be lovely if you did want to join in the more the merrier.

I think a lot of the fun starts with threads on MDCC topics, those interested make a bee line for the latest updates. The more fun we can create the interest may increase on our auctions.

If it is 'home made'with a bit of comedy thrown in no one will feel their item is being laughed at.  Providing you do not show pictures on here of your listings you can still make your story up to raise interest.

Linda welcome to MDCC, come on in and have fun, ask questions on here about how you go about it, im sure if you are into craft work you have something hid away you may think will never sell, did it turn out wrong in your eyes but too nice to throw away. Have a go & list it, make a story up about wrong it went, was going to put ****up but best be careful eh girls!

You can still add another 4 more serious items for others who want to donate but do not want to join in the fun bit.

I am willing to give it another try to see if we can master up enough interest.
