Apologies for being AWOL again - been a tad busy! Himself got up on Monday morning & decided "we" were going to paint the living room ..................... not quite what I had planned for a Bank Holiday. I was planning to do some more to my own painting - much more fun than putting paint onto walls but hey-ho.
I seem to have spent the past few days going back & forth for supplies - paints (assorted) brushes (original ones lost bristles constantly), brush cleaner (assorted), making cups of tea, making meals, going for yet more paint etc etc etc Joy...
As my craft room is the only one where carpet can actually be seen, guess where all the furniture etc went? Yep - got it in one. Have been unable to get in there since Mon am till just now, so, apart from doing the fairy's wings in pearlescent paint, this month's efforts have not been touched since I listed them!
On a more positive note, the living room, the hall & most of the bathroom have been done - now got the delightful job of washing all the stuff from the walls & rehanging them all back in their rightful places. I'm hoping to fight my way back in soon 🙂
So, a belated THANK YOU to all my bidders & bumpers - always greatly appreciated 🙂 But SHOCK, HORROR ......................There's a bid on the clogs 😮 ?:| There goes any street cred I may have had then! So, come on, own up, who is it? Who hasn't taken their medication lately??? Who should have gone to Sp*csav*rs?????
Might have to go away on Friday, just for a couple of days, so might not be around when mdcc finishes. Will it be ok to pay for any winnings when I get back, please?
