Kitchen design ideas - Other half had a brainstorm.

OH has just said he thinks it would be nice if we had a new kitchen, after I picked myself up off the floor, I thought  I had better strike while the iron is hot.

We have a problem, he likes wood and I like painted wood,  I like modern clean lines he likes olde world,  so any suggestions.

Perhaps a compromise ....

Traditional shaker style kitchen in painted wood ....the good thing about painted kitchen units are that they can be repainted when you tire of a particular colour......

Agree with the ones who said Shaker style  painted  units with wooden worktops , mind you thats what ive got LOL

I want painted cupboards and wooden worktops too,  I have a waxed oak dresser, table and chairs, so I have told him thats his wood and I will have painted cupboards and at the moment he seems fine with that.

Half in Half!!!!!!,,,,or two kitchens???. Some oldie wordly cupboards and clean lines for the worktops,,sink,,floor ect. Mmmmm tricky.
