I'm lost on here!

I'm not getting this new (to me) layout..can someone help me out?

I posted a question in the Buyers section but it's not there when you view the section but I can see it when i click on my name?!

Also, if you click on my name it shows all my posts! I really don't want my selling/buying posts to be involved in things I've said here.

It's really putting me off posting at all now, I thought I could keep things seperate.

One more thing....what is the 'report inappropriate content' thing.....I seem to of had a lot views? What does that mean ?

Thanks peeps xxx

The views are people who have viewed your post. Nothing to do with the report bit. That is for reporting the post if it was infringing th rules. I don't know what you mean about the buyers section. Do you mean buyers central? You post there the same as here.

Re: I'm lost on here!

You asked your question in the buying section of the "Answer Centre", which is for quick answers to questions. It's always been there.

FHG is in the Discussion Boards (also always been there).

What has changed is that silly black hole of a box that encourages you to "Ask a question to (sic) other Ebay Members" and you could end up posting your question anywhere.  Just ignore it, use the Answer Centre for quick answers and the Discussion boards for everything else. Also, the "recent topics" on the Community page are a mixture from the Answer Centre and the Discussion boards, and you can't tell which until you click on them.

You could always find other people's posts, only you had to use the Search.  It's just the way Lithium (the new forum provider) does it - seems a bit wasteful of computer resources but  suppose they thought it would be helpful.
