........Still only feel 32 though. To celebrate I am going to take my dogs for a lovely, long walk; it's  very cold and frosty here. Had better news re. my Brother, he has been moved to a hospital nearer to his home and is looking well, so that is a lovely birthday present.

It was my Birthday yesterday as well... But I wouldn't have known. 

No cards from those who I consider my closest friends just got a quick text instead.   I'm old school and it's nice to recieve a card.  Sound selfish don't I? 
The rest of the day was spent drying out wet walls in this old damp house.

Oh, Streety, that's a shame about the cards. I love to get cards too. I was surprised not to get texts as well from certain people as I always text and send a card when its their birthday. Enjoyed my day though. A belated Happy Birthday to you. ((((HUGS))))

As for being 59..... I renewed  my pre-payment certificate for my prescriptions today and promptly received a message stating that as I will be 60 next year, I will be eligible for free prescriptions! Don't they like to rub it in, LOL  I'm already bombarded with letters for life insurance, funeral plans etc etc. Give a girl a break.....! I'm only a kid

I have started getting those sort of letters recently and I am 47 I had a booklet the other day with all sorts of things in like TENA pants and adult bibs and bed pans....gimme a break lol.

I found out today after finding my birth certificate I'm only 53 not 54,apart from the fact I feel an absolute idiot. I'm very happy about it. For the next few months I shall sign, Sam the younger.
