How far back do you remember in FHG and the community spirit ...

I remember once (not sure who it was for), a lady in here with a very ill little boy (I think) whose only real contact with the outside world was her computer as she had her hands full looking after him.

She was having computer problems and was not sure how much longer she could stay in contact with her friends in here and everyone chipped in what they could afford to buy her a new computer to allow her to continue contact and have the support all her friends in here wanted her to have.

Now in my opinion that was the real community spirit of here that once was and when FHG lived up to its name of Family ! Some lovely, warm, kind, caring and generous people that stepped up when one of the community family needed help.

Helloo! Streety here. It’s been so nostalgic to read this thread, so many fab memories and some very funny times. You guys were a huge part of my life.
I’ve not been here for a few years so I assume much has changed. I remember the quiz nights, the weight loss thread (without which I couldn’t have done it) The story about the dog, it was something like ‘that darn dog’ but I forget the dogs name. I joined in 2007..ouch
